WSWM Development Team

The Development Team was created in order to identify talented local athletes, assist in their development and provide them with the training and resources needed to make the jump from recreational participants to Provincial Team members.

Athletes are assessed and selected to the team based on their performances throughout the season at WSWM events and clinics, as well as at club events and clinics. Input from personal and/or club coaches is also considered for athletes who may not regularly train at the Winnipeg ski site.

WSWM Provincial Team

The WSWM Provincial Team program recognizes outstanding competitive performances in both Water Skiing and Wakeboarding, provides financial support to qualifying athletes and helps to arrange training and coaching opportunities throughout the year.

Manitoba has a long history of strong competitive National and International level athletes and it is through our Provincial Team program that we continue to support their development.
